Ukraine Is In Our Prayers

UKRAINE VALENTINE UPDATE

KHARKOV REFUGEE CAMP

NEW SCHOOL IN KHARKOV

The President of the Conference in Kieve came to meet me and Dr. E. G. Moses (passed away since) upon our arrival in July 2018.
Kharkov is in the East of Ukraine. A modern refugee camp was built with many orphans few miles away from the Russian border.
There was no Adventist School in Kharkov, the second largest city in Ukraine. Above are the pre-school kids saying Thank You at the school we built.
Kharkov upper grade students during my visit. We built nine classrooms and they have great programs for the children. Parents attend school functions.
Due to the Crimean War with Russia in 2014, Ukraine built a good refugee camp in Kharkov. Pastor Alex loves to help the kids. Here he is praying with them.
Early Childhood class in Kharkov. Children get a nutritious meal at school and teachers are well qualified.

NEW SCHOOL IN LUVIV

Luviv School education is in high demand. Children were two years on the waiting list due lack of space. Restore a Child helped them buy the next building.

President of the Conference joins the Principal of Luviv Adventist School in the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the new building 2021.

Russian Orthodox beliefs are dominant in Ukraine. The only way for parents to learn about us is through their children coming to our schools.

BUCHA CENTER AND CHURCH

In Bucha, they had no church or school. Restore a Child built an Early Childhood Center and a Church for them.

North West of Kieve, the Capital, the children from the community now have access to Adventist education.

Two beautiful girls in Bucha after we built the Center and church for them. Our schools in general offer healthy meals for children.

CARPATHIA MODEL SCHOOL

Carpathia Mountains, the third largest mountainrange in eight countries in Eastern Europe. We partnered with an Adventist generous member to build a three-story boarding school to attract young people from all over Ukraine. Competitive sports and music are offered.

Classes are small enough for students to receive individual attention. Daily nutritious meals are offered free to all students. The Early Childhood Center has cribs so that pre-schoolers can take a nap after lunch.

In 2021 Ukraine students wore masks at school.

Ukraine desperately needs our help.

Please keep Ukraine in your prayers.
