2010 - Present
Sierra Leone is the country where the Ebola virus struck in 2010. Restore a Child since then partnered with Waterloo Adventist Hospital and the medical staff. We make sure no sick child is turned away due lack of funds. In addition, we provided a Mobile Clinic Van that goes with medical staff to remote areas where people cannot afford to pay the fare to the hospital. We are saving hundreds of children who have no acces to medical care in remote villages.
During the mud slide in 2016, thousands of children were orphaned overnight. Restore a Child provided several trucks loaded with beans, rice and medical supplies. The official TV mentioned the Waterloo Hospital with Restore a Child for their generosity during this tragedy.
In 2020 Restore a Child distributed 59 goats to poor families. In 2021 we are giving another 50 goats for milk.

In 2021 Restore a Child started construction of an elementary school for the poor and forgotten children in Sierra Leone.
