Act to Impact Orphans for Eternity

A few orphans we sent to the school Restore a Child built in the refugee Camp in South Sudan. Some stories break your heart: The Adventist School they attended had no roof, no walls, no desks or chairs, no books nor pencils for poor refugee orphans. Education gives dignity. Thank you Donors for helping us give them dignity and and hope for a future.

THE CARE OF ORPHANS

“The Lord calls upon EVERY member of the church to do his duty to these orphans.”

“They are God’s property, for whom Christians are responsible. Their souls, God says, ‘will I require at thine hand.’” "They are lent to Christians in trust for God.” (We are stewards of orphans) 6T 281.1; 6T 283.2; 286.1

Message from the Founder... (Norma was an orphan)

UNICEF October 12, 2025

Catherine Russell, UNICEF Executive Director. “Killing and injuring children are grave violations of their rights, and attacks on civilians in places meant to offer safety and refuge are unconscionable.”

South Sudan has been experiencing famine for months, and the food security and child nutrition situation in the state has reached catastrophic levels. The disruption of supply routes, looting of aid, and denial of humanitarian access have made sustained relief efforts almost impossible.

Friend, No child should be going hungry in a world that produces plenty of food to eat. Jesus said, these children are "ME"... in as much as you have done it unto... you have done it unto me.

Ukraine War

Restore a Child continues to provide assistance and services for children in 12 countries , Ukraine war has left devastation everywhere... including health, nutrition, and other basic needs.

Haiti Conflict is facing a devastating and fast-evolving humanitarian crisis. Children are paying the highest price as violence spirals, internal displacement soars and families are cut off from basic services including food, health care, education and protection. Without decisive action, the future of an entire generation is at stake. Added to all this is the recent impact of Hurricane Melissa.

The photos above of hungry children are from only four of the 12 countries Restore a Child works in. Millions of people — half of whom are children — are facing catastrophic hunger. Please help. Thank you.

Food insecurity touches every community

You can make a difference today!

Congo

Photo above is of a feeding program (cooked meal) a day for 1,000 hungry students. They ate well and did well on their government exam. The government sent us a Thank You letter attributing the success of the students on their exams is due to the one good cooked meal they ate at the school.

UNICEF

Every year UNICEF designates September and October as Feeding and Hunger Months. In the USA, "More than 50 million people turned to food banks this year", more than at any point in the last decade. In every community, people are working hard to feed their families. Each person is our neighbor. And each person deserves the nutritious food we all need to maintain our health.

It is critical that donors face tough times, financial strains, with humanitarian crises escalating at an alarming rate. Starving and sick children can't wait....They need help NOW."

More bombs in Ukraine. More hunger in Sudan. More children are suffering as famine overtakes Gaza. and other war-torn countries. But we can’t stop saving lives and we can't keep up without your help.

The government SHUTDOWN has made our work even more challenging as children’s needs surge. Will you make a gift today and help us reach the children enduring war, hunger, and displacement?
