Love for Silent Emergencies Restore a Child's humanitarian role is to save the lives of children. Our core values have remained constant for over a quarter of a century: to deliver life-saving water, food, medicine, and education during famine, disease, and conflict. We use donor funds to satisfy our donor wishes and defend children's rights regardless of race, nationality, or religious background. When you partner with Restore a Child be assured you save lives and you will find deep satisfaction that you are fulfilling the command of Jesus. My friends ask me why I keep traveling to distant lands, even refugee camps. My answer is always: It is LOVE that motivates me to follow the example of our Lord. One of these difficult trips was to the refugee camp in Goma, East Congo, DRC. There I witnessed the most horrifying conditions of orphan children who had no water, home, or food. Little girls brought their baby siblings to class with them because their parents were dead. Cry with me.

'GIVE US THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD...'
Below is a collage of three photos I took upon arrival at the refugee camp in Goma, E. Congo. I was not prepared to offer them a hot cooked meal. So I immediately went with our partner, France Motumbo, and bought bread and milk for all of the 1,000 children. They thanked God for their "daily bread."
