Remembering Tim Aka

“The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.” Corinthians 15:26

Tim was the beloved husband of our dear friend and board member, Sharon. The chairman and board members of Restore a Child ministry mourn the loss of a hero for the defense of poor and orphan children. As an organization we will always be grateful for his support of Restore a Child. That support helped us improve and expand our work in South Sudan, Ukraine, Tanzania, and other countries that we serve.

One day Tim will hear the words of the Master... Well done, thou good and faithful servant.

As Associate Treasurer of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, he devoted his life to serving God and His church. His passing is a heartbreaking loss... especially for Sharon and their family.

I invite you to join with me to let Sharon and her family know that they are surrounded by our love, our prayers, and our deepest sympathy. Words seem so inadequate at a time like this. We can only imagine the sorrow she is experiencing after walking beside Tim through these difficult years. Our hearts ache for her, and we pray that she will feel God's loving arms holding her close and giving her strength for each new day. May the beautiful memories of her life together with Tim bring her comfort, and may the blessed hope of seeing Tim again on that glorious resurrection morning sustain her heart.
