We have started a sewing workshop for orphan girls and widows. They are learning how to make clothes and school uniforms, which equips them with practical skills for sustainable income. During their training, we also support them and their children with food and school fees. A new generation of educated Maasai is being born.

We continue to operate the guest house, which has become a significant support to the project. The guest house, named Yasmeen Home in honor of the mother of Founder of Restore a Child. It stands as a testimony to what has been made possible through your support, for which we remain deeply grateful.

Maasai young women are learning to sew in our sewing classes. Here they learn a skill which provides them with income to help their children and to sell the uniforms to send their children to school. Your continued support is greatly appreciated to reach these remote villages with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

At the moment, the training takes place in a small room within the church. We would like to expand this initiative by building a dedicated sewing workshop to provide better conditions and increase its impact. Also the room will be used to give Bible studies to Maasai women who will teach their children.

This is the outside of the Yasmeen Home in 2025 before it was completed. I am touched as this Guest House is named after my mother (Norma's blind mother). All the work of Restore a Child in 12 countries was inspired by Yasmeen.
